Our Registered Dietitian

Christina Pham, RD, always knew that she wanted to be in healthcare, helping people live their healthiest lives. She discovered that nutrition was her calling when she started working with a research team at St. Michael’s Hospital for a high school credit. Combining her passion for the sciences and her love of food, Christina started her journey to become a Registered Dietitian at the University of Guelph. After receiving her Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Human Nutrition, Christina went on to complete her practical training at St. Michael’s Hospital as a post-graduate student at Ryerson University. Through this joint program with Ryerson University and St. Michael’s Hospital, Christina received her Professional Master’s Diploma in Dietetics.

Christina has experience working in both acute care and in community settings. As a Registered Dietitian, she incorporates patient-centered care and evidence-based practice into all aspects of her services. Christina believes that learning and collaboration are cornerstones to good counselling. She is constantly looking for opportunities to learn from others as well as provide nutrition education to her patients. Her areas of expertise include chronic disease management (i.e. heart disease, hypertension, cancer, etc.), weight management and overall healthy eating.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Christina looking for delicious food around Toronto or losing to her friends at board games. She also enjoys working out, doodling in her journal and re-watching her favourite movies.
